Student Financial Aid Business Technology Analyst

The University of Nevada, Reno is seeking a Business Technology Analyst for the Financial Aid department. The Financial Aid Business Technology Analyst provides end user and application support by various methods: develops and manages applications for systems such as DocuSign, OnBase, and the PeopleSoft Financial Aid module, provides hardware and software support, and serves as a liaison between the end users and the Office of Information Technology team. The Functional Analyst conducts PeopleSoft functional systems testing, troubleshoots functional problems, creates/designs financial aid batch processes to increase productivity; and runs queries for quality assurance and other data needs.

The Analyst participates in the planning of new releases and application systems by anticipating user needs and developing appropriate resources and responses to system enhancements and changes.  The position manages projects and resources, as well as, coordinating with other professionals to serve in a leadership role that ensures user needs are met.
